 Miramichi Taekwondo Academy is the largest and most established taekwondo school on the river & in Northern New Brunswick.
With flexible schedules and classes to satisfy the most hectic of lifestyles, Miramichi TKD is choice for premier taekwondo
instruction. We are the only school in Miramichi to offer classes 5 days a week!
Miramichi TKD began in the late 1970s
and has produced many successful athletes.
We teach Olympic Style taekwondo (WTF) in a fun and well rounded curriculum.
We train and coach competitors on a provincial and national level. We conduct classes that appeal to the beginner student
to the more advanced, and everyone in between. We offer an excellent cross training program that appeals to athletes in ANY
sport looking for explosive speed, power, balance & agility. We offer a. 'traditional' program for the taekwondo purists
as well as an adult fitness class.
We are proud of our organization and ensure the best instruction possible. All classes
are well supervised and safety of our students is our primary goal. We have a well equipped facility and have safety equipment
available for ALL students.
We are a member of TKDNB, which is the provincial sport organization. Through TKDNB, we
continue to expose New Brunswick athletes to the national & international stage. Financial Assistance programs (KidSport,
faciliated through Sport NB) are available to those who qualify.
Classes are under the instruction of Glenn Hale,
4th Dan WTF & Jin Hee Jeong, 3rd Dan WTF.
