Jin Hee Jeong , Instructor
Jin Hee Jeong hails from the birthplace of Tae Kwon Do, South Korea, and is
proud to be an avid participant in the art! Mr. Jeong first started
training in tae kwon do at the age of 20; he participated in an intensive
tae kwon do course as part of his ROTC studies. Mr. Jeong continued
practicing and in October of 1994 earned the level of First Dan.
Subsequently in October of 1995, Mr. Jeong went on to achieve 2nd Dan
status. It was shortly thereafter when he became not only a student, but
also a teacher of Tae Kwon Do, when he began, as a military officer, to
instruct his soldiers. He did this from 1996 to 1998. Upon moving to
Canada, Mr. Jeong was anxious to join a Tae Kwon Do club, and he knew he
found what he was looking for when he joined Glenn Hale's Miramichi Tae Kwon
Do in 2006. Mr. Jeong found himself, once again, passionate about the
study, and under Master Hale's tutelage, he merited his 3rd Dan achievement
in June of 2007. Presently, Mr. Jeong is teaching the traditional Tae Kwon
Do class as part of Master Hale's curriculum. Jin maintains the philosophy
that Tae Kwon Do must be appreciated for its complete physical and mental
benefits. One must learn to strive for the balance which the martial art
brings to us, not only in our skill, strength, and abilities, but also in
our clarity of mind, and focus of spirit.
